When you’re making upwards of 8 pizzas each time, you’ll struggle to find enough containers to keep the individual patties in. “Patty”- such a foreign word in the UK but I can’t think of a better way to describe it. Blob. Lump. Ball.
Moving on then…
Yeah, well, the last time we made 16 pizzas we had a kitchen covered in Tupperware-esque containers and I knew I had to source some other solution. What do restaurants do? Well they have dough trays and they stack them and maybe store them in the fridge. No way on earth that these 750mm buggers are going in a domestic fridge but if you remember – we’re now proving all our dough at room temp. Our house is a bit chilly anyway, especially the kitchen with its tiled floor. Get the violins out…
Haven’t used them yet other than for letting some baguettes prove but I can see myself getting another couple for the next time we have a pizza party. Should hold 12 to 15 on each tray… nice.
Got these -> dough trays from the nice people at Fishers Catering Supplies near York (and that’s where I got the oven brush from).
