Cash and Carry

That’s a 25kg bag of 00 flour along with 12 kilos of tinned tomatoes and a 10kg bag of kiln-dried logs that I picked up this morning from Delitalia in Barnsley. The car is my Lotus Elise and despite years of packing the boot for holidays, trips and such, it still amazes me how much you can fit in the boot of this tiny car. Mind you, it was close to the 50kg limit.
Some more learning to do now with the new flour – and those tins of tomatoes are actually more of a pulp that should be enough to not have to mix – apart from adding a bit of seasoning perhaps. They’re over 4 kilos per tin – that’s 10 regular sized tins in each one! I’ll need more space in the freezer then for once I’ve opened one.
